Set directly on the shores of the Millstätter See in Carinthia, this exceptional apartment by Hoflehner Interiors places the lake at the heart of every design decision. The open-plan living space flows through full-height glass doors onto a private terrace overlooking the water, while a bronze-detailed kitchen with skylight and hand-painted espresso mural brings a warmth and eclecticism that makes the space feel truly one of a kind. We were commissioned to photograph the full interior and exterior — capturing the light, the lake, and the layers of considered design throughout.

Botanical murals wrap the bedroom nooks, a teal velvet bed anchors the master suite, and a swing chair on the terrace frames the mountain and lake view behind it. From the wire pendant chandelier in the dining area to the pop art sectional sofa and the bronze-embossed hallway cabinet, every detail was approached with the same editorial eye — photography that tells the full story of this remarkable lakeside home.
